I fly from California dreaming of Akita's and look forward to it every time. I want them to open another one...out there. 100% serious.

Traditional Japanese cuisine served in a more time-conscious manner. Order and pay at the counter. Food will be brought to your table rather quickly. Has a fast-food feel to it, but the food is exceptional for the speedy service. Very popular with the locals for dine-in, take out and drive-thru service. Highly recommended.

Akita is my favorite restaurant! The food is always exactly the same! They allow for any substitutions you ask for. I always ask for my food to be cooked in olive oil instead of butter. And I request substitutions on three of the vegetables. They do it with a smile! Every time! They're the greatest! I've never had a bad experience at Akita. Never!

The food and service was excellent as always but I really didnt enjoy listen to a gossiping employee the whole time we ate our dinner. We ended up sitting 2 tables away from an employee whom might have been taking a break at a corner table. The whole time all she did was talk terrible about a co-worker, former employee and looked to be in a very fowl mood. She was talking to other employees that would pass by and stop at the table. Tried not to hear it but was hard she was loud like she wanted everyone to hear. Her name happened to be wrote on her drink cup it was Heather this isnt the first time I witnessed this either, this same thing happened when we were there prior to this, same employee, same situation. I suggest they get a break room they can gossip in and talk about one another because no one want to hear it. If you dont have nothing nice to say dont say nothing at all.

Had the scallops was done very well and big portions my son had the teriyaki chicken was kind of dry

The Absolute Best Japanese Food Ever!!

Food is 5 star always but 4 star given due to poor seating and slow drive through into the road(needs an intervention)

Akita is located off Morris Blvd, in front of Frank Lorino Park, on the East Side of Morristown (about a quarter mile from hwy 25).Every time I eat there I am happy with the quality, quantity, and price. It seems that no matter the time you come in, you get your food quickly and it tastes great!They are very happy to substitute ingredients and the staff comes out to see how you like everything. You can also call your order in and pick it up. You will get more food than you should probably eat in 1 sitting for around $10 (take the leftovers home and reheat, still tasty)!

Akita Express is one of the best places to eat in Morristown! Fresh food at a good value, quick and quality service. We love their hibachi chicken either eating in the dining room or as take out. Highly recommended!

The food here is excellent. I had the scallops...without the steak. Always served very hot with substantial portions. The carrots were delicious and the scallops perfectly done. I highly recommend. Pricing is good as well.

The food was good and service was fast. Girls working there just need to have better manors and not give customers dirty looks or as right after they sit down and start eating if the want a to go box or drink. At least wait until we are not eating. Just because I’m not preppy doesn’t mean I should get treated like that. Learn manors peeps have less respect and manors than any tattooed or pierced person I have ever met.

Very friendly service. No egg rolls, no spring rolls or sweet and sour sauce plus dry chicken. For the dollar anount at lunch, I'll stick with my wok at the house.

The food is fresh, hot, tasty, and made to order. They work pretty fast but are almost always super busy so you may have to wait a while. They really need a bigger/2nd location.

The rice is too fatty and the carrots are too sweet. The rest is fine.
